Log into Azure Portal: https://portal.azure.com/

Step 1. Create a NordOps User

Go to Users: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_UsersAndTenants/UserManagementMenuBlade/~/AllUsers

If there is already a NordOps user, skip to the step 2.

If there is no NordOps user, create one: click New user > Create new user:

Add the user:

User principle name: nordops

Display name: NordOps Support

Password: send the auto-generated initial password to use securely using a one-time secret link from: https://secret.nordops.net/ 

Click Review + create -> Create

Step 2. Provide Access to the Azure Subscription

Go to Subscriptions: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Billing/SubscriptionsBladeV2

Select the Azure subscription, then click Access control (IAM), click Add, select Add role assignment

From the Role tab, select Privileged administrator roles, then select Owner

From the Members tab, click Select members, and search for the NordOps user you just created, then click Select, and then click Review + assign

From the Conditions tab, select Allow user to assign all roles except privileged administrator roles, then click Review + assign:

Click Review + assign once more to save the changes
